Amazonbai

AmazonBai is a cooperative of extractive producers from the communities of the Bailique Archipelago and Beira Amazonas,  which are located at the mouth of the Amazon river, state of Amapá, Brazil. It was created in 2017 with the aim of bringing local development from the sustainable management of açaí berry. There are currently 132 cooperative members, managing 3,464.58 hectares of land and holding  FSC® certification (forest management, chain of custody and ecosystem services), Vegan certification and Amapá Certification Label.
