Forests created or improved Crosara oasis
Why did we support this forest?
Along the Brenta river, we can find the Crosara Oasis, where nature, leisure, and culture meet.
History of the forest
In the municipality of Nove, along the banks of the Brenta River, lies the Crosara Oasis: a green area frequented by families, sports enthusiasts, and nature lovers. Always a point of reference for the community, the oasis is a place where nature cares for people, offering moments of relaxation, exploration, and well-being. Over time, however, invasive species and a lack of maintenance had compromised its usability and ecological richness.

How we improved the forest
To restore the oasis to its former vitality, we launched an environmental redevelopment project as part of the Brenta River Park initiative. We removed invasive species and planted native trees, including poplars, ash trees, and elms. To improve water quality and promote biodiversity, we installed floating islands to create new habitats for local wildlife. Additionally, we laid out new paths and installed information panels to make the area more accessible, educational, and welcoming for everyone. Today, Crosara Oasis exemplifies how caring for the land can strengthen the bond between nature and the community.
