Why did we support this forest?
A new forest to enhance the water heritage in the province of Padua.
History of the forest
In the heart of Parco dell’Amicizia, in the municipality of San Pietro in Gu, near Padua, comes the Bosco delle Risorgive, an urban reforestation project that aims to enhance a public meadow and redevelop four natural resurgences: the Fontanon, Regazzo Alto, Cumana and Uselin.

How we improved the forest
The intervention covers 1 hectare of area where 500 native trees are planted to increase biodiversity. Thanks to collaboration with the Brenta Reclamation Consortium, water management in the area will be improved. The park will be made more usable with benches, signage and informative QR codes. In addition, educational paths, ecological days and participatory activities will be activated, involving schools, families and citizens.
