Why did we support this forest?
An educational forest designed to be a place for social interaction, discovery, learning, and experimentation. It integrates with the ongoing activities of land stewardship, social agriculture, and educational farming carried out by the cooperative that takes care of this green space.
History of the forest
In the municipality of Castelfranco Veneto, in the Province of Treviso, a new forest is being created — a place where biodiversity, learning, and experimentation come together. The forest covers about 3,500 square meters and replaces what used to be an agricultural field. Thanks to the project and the planting of 24 tree and shrub species, it is becoming a thriving ecosystem full of life.

How we improved the forest
In collaboration with L’Incontro Cooperativa Sociale, we designed and created a new multifunctional forest that brings together nature, community, hospitality, and experimentation. Numerous native species — such as hornbeam, oak, ash, hazel, and lime — are interwoven to form a diverse woodland. This mix of trees and shrubs will create a lowland forest capable of providing shelter for many animal species and pollinating insects. The forest will also feature an internal path for visitors to explore.
In addition to being a welcoming and positive place for biodiversity, Bosco Campoverde perfectly complements the activities carried out by the Cooperative. The new forest will become a space where people can learn new things, connect with others, and experiment. In this small green corner, every plant is also a symbol of personal and collective growth.
