TEDx Bergamo helps forests with WOWnature

TEDxBergamo is a local event created in the spirit and tradition of TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design), one of the most well-known non-profit organisations and conference formats in the world. Founded in 2014 with the mission of spreading innovative ideas and promoting culture in new and original ways, the event reaches its ninth edition this year. TEDxBergamo has always been actively committed to supporting environmental policies in the local area, encouraging concrete initiatives for sustainable mobility and the fight against climate change.

TEDx recognises the crucial role of forests in tackling the climate and ecological crisis. For this reason, we have chosen to support reforestation and forest improvement efforts in a strategically important Lombardy ecosystem that fosters biodiversity and connectivity between natural habitats. At the Torbiere del Sebino Nature Reserve, just a short distance from Lake Iseo, TEDx will contribute to the adoption of new trees.
