Adopt a tree and protect Bosco di Ponte San Nicolò
Why support this forest?
Just 3 km from the centre of Padua, a new woodland is to be created along the banks of the Bacchiglione. By supporting this project, you will help transform an agricultural area into a space rich in biodiversity, featuring over 15 native species of trees and shrubs. A new green space and shaded area that will benefit both nature and the community.

Protect Bosco di Ponte San Nicolò
It's not enough to plant new trees; we must protect forests from abandonment, fires, illegal logging, biodiversity loss, wind, and disasters.

If you adopt a tree in this forest, you can plant it in person during WOW events.
You’ll receive an email with the details one month before the event (even if you’ve chosen the Protect this Forest option).
Participate with whoever you like and share your passion for nature! We respect nature’s rhythms, which is why we plant trees in spring and fall, taking environmental conditions into account. If you can’t attend, we’ll take care of planting your tree.
How we are improving the forest
Across an area of approximately 4,000 m², we will plant around 400 native trees and shrubs, arranged in sinusoidal rows and interspersed with small clearings to create a more natural and diverse environment. The ground will be prepared prior to planting, and the woodland will be managed through maintenance and monitoring to ensure the plants take root and develop properly, with scheduled checks over the coming years.
