Arcella Bella helps forests with WOWnature

Arcella Bella is an annual cultural festival that transforms Parco Milcovich into a place of community, culture, and social connection. Created to revitalize the Arcella neighbourhood and its green spaces, Arcella Bella brings together music, artistic events, sport, community gatherings, and active citizenship initiatives. The management of the park is entrusted to the Cultural Association Il Coccodrillo as part of a long-term project with the Municipality of Padova.

Arcella Bella adopts an integrated approach to environmental sustainability. Through collaboration with Etifor, we have calculated the festival’s carbon footprint and developed a climate plan to raise awareness of and mitigate the emissions generated. Since 2023, it has applied the principles of Universal Design to the entire park area and its events: through new signage, an accessible wayfinding route, and “Cantiere Accessibilità” workshops, it engages citizens and associations to identify and remove barriers, making Parco Milcovich more inclusive and accessible for everyone.

Entering into a partnership with WOWnature means enhancing a journey already underway: culture, community, and environment united in a concrete project. WOWnature’s support makes it possible to strengthen green regeneration, increase the park’s biodiversity, and consolidate Parco Milcovich as a model of a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient public space.
