“Visiting the places we love and leaving them better than we found them”. This is the philosophy of Butterfield&Robinson, a Canadian travel company. For this reason, they established the Slow Fund, to support projects that support local communities in the regions they visit via educational, cultural, or conservation and preservation initiatives. B&R has been taking travellers to the Dolomites since the early 1990s, fostering a strong connection to the region and the community behind it: that’s why Butterfield & Robinson is now teaming up with WOWnature and Alta Badia to restore the century-old forests severely damaged by Storm Vaia, in 2018.

Butterfield&Robinson will match every tree you adopt, just be sure to add “br” to the promo section of the form. In the summer of 2020, B&R guides planted the donated trees and GPS coordinates will be shared to see your tree…. or better yet, join them in the region for a direct visit!
