City Vision helps forests with WOWnature
City Vision is the community that facilitates the exchange of experiences, needs and solutions for the smart transformation of territories. The City Vision community includes public administrators, PA officials, businesses, organizations, professionals, researchers, and innovators. It is a project of Blum and Padua Hall, which comes to life each year through a roadshow in territories throughout Italy and a major event in Padua, the States General of Smart Cities.
THE STATES GENERAL OF SMART CITIES
Now in its fifth edition, the States General of Smart Cities represent the main meeting moment of the City Vision community in which territories confront each other, experiences contaminate each other and projects become concrete. Through panels, working tables, an innovation village with exhibition spaces and networking moments, the States General represent the flagship event of the City Vision schedule.
Every day in City Vision we talk about the future of smart cities also in terms of sustainability, but we know that change also comes from the contribution that day by day every citizen or citizen, business or entity can make to combat the climate crisis. We, too, want to set a good example by doing something concrete. With the support of WOWnature, we have measured the emissions of the States General and established an action plan to mitigate our impact. We committed to supporting the project in Val di Fiemme, an area damaged by Storm Vaia in 2018. For us at City Vision, “sustainability” is not just another word: the climate crisis is an urgent problem that as a community we have a duty to address with concrete actions, virtuous examples and strategic partnerships.
