Gli Echi della Natura helps forests with WOWnature
Echi della Natura is an academy founded in 2019 by violinist Corinna Canzian—a non-profit third-sector organization. The academy was established in the Belluno Dolomites with the goal of bringing classical music and its young performers to extraordinary locations and making it accessible to a vibrant community of students, families, and music lovers.
Alongside the Academy, three festivals have been developed: starting in 2022, Echi Urbani in Varese; in 2024, Echi del Mare in Jesolo (VE); and in 2025, Echi del Lago in Laveno Mombello (VA). Each edition combines masterclasses with internationally renowned instructors, concerts on unique stages, and outdoor activities.
Nature is not merely a scenic backdrop for Gli Echi della Natura: it is a cultural and social necessity. The Academy brings young talents to the Eremo dei Romiti in the Cadore Dolomites (BL), the historic gardens of Varese, the Venetian Lagoon overlooking Jesolo (VE), and the shores of Lake Maggiore in Laveno Mombello (VA). The beauty of these places is part of the musical message: those who approach music through these environments emerge with a sense of responsibility toward their surroundings. This is why Gli Echi della Natura measures the impact of its events on the local area and chooses partners who share this vision.
The collaboration with WOWnature stems from this approach to designing projects and growing alongside our community. Every concert, every masterclass, every guided tour becomes an opportunity to give something back to the places hosting Echi events, in the form of trees planted in parks and forests near the festivals. Music resonates for a moment. A forest resonates for decades, if it has roots. Echi della Natura has chosen to plant them for real, with its community, event after event.
