In forest of the seven heavens, in the municipality of Altofonte, we have already planted thousands of trees to create a Food Forest. Together with many people, the Rewild Sicily Collective, and Rossella from Caseificio le Scale, we have made a new contribution to the regeneration of this area by planting new trees and shrubs. These interventions will not only help to combat the effects of drought and soil erosion, but will also create a valuable edible ecosystem for wildlife and the local community, strengthening biodiversity in Sicily.
