On Saturday we continued planting new trees in Parco Oglio Sud to restore the peat bogs of Marcaria (MN). This unique and delicate habitat is home to numerous tree and animal species, including the red-backed shrike and the Lataste’s frog, an amphibian typical of this area and very rare.
