On the Asiago Plateau, Storm Vaia and the bark beetle have devastated Enego’s forests
History of the forest
To speed up the forest’s natural regeneration, we have removed the felled trees and taken steps to isolate the stands of fir trees affected by the bark beetle in order to slow down the spread of the infestation.

The mountains around Enego were among the areas hardest hit by Storm Vaia and the spread of the bark beetle, which has led to a significant increase in the number of felled trees.
