Fiemme Valley

The wonderful valleys that host these prosperous forests, which are of paramount importance for the economy of local mountain communities, have been heavily damaged by Storm Vaia in October 2018.

Support this initiative to restore these valleys, that have always been generous in hosting skiers, trekkers and visitors: contribute to the restoration of their forests, the engine of the economy of local populations.

Project realized thanks to the collaboration with Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme in the context of the initiatives WOWalps | the re-birth of alpine forests promoted by WOWnature in collaboration with Municipalities and private citizens that take care of the forests that were damaged by Storm Vaia.

This is a FSC®certified area: FSC forest management certification confirms that the forest is being managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while ensuring it sustains economic viability.

The next planting is scheduled for May 2021; the last planting was in October 2020. Watch a recording of the live broadcast on this page.

P.S. Because of the hard conditions of the land in these valleys, that would not allow us to guaranteed safe conditions for all, the tree planting in the Fiemme Valley are realized only by the specialized workers of the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme with the support of our team.
