Almond tree

  • Lovers of good things

The almond tree is a small tree known for its fruit, widespread throughout the Mediterranean countries. Its bloom gives an explosion of white and pink flowers that signal the arrival of spring.

It is a hardy and pest-resistant tree and it tolerates drought and high temperatures. Therefore, it can live for a very long time.

The almond tree is one of the first trees to bloom, often as early as February. Therefore it is a symbol of awakening and rebirth.

Sweet almonds are a versatile ingredient rich in vitamin E and essential amino acids. They are used in cooking as well as in cosmetics in the form of oil.
