Updates from Campo dei Fiori Park
October 2025 – Updates from Campo dei Fiori Park
This year, we returned to Campo dei Fiori Park to continue our work of restoring and strengthening the forest’s biodiversity. Together with many individuals and companies, and side by side with the local authority of Campo dei Fiori Park, we planted new broadleaf trees such as beech, hornbeam and oak, which are essential for making the forest more resilient to future climate events.
To protect these young plants and ensure healthy growth, we used shelters: small shelters that protect them from ungulates, which are particularly active in seasons when food is scarce, and create the ideal conditions for the forest to develop in a balanced way.
On this day, we also went to monitor the plants planted last year and were pleased to see that they are doing well: they are growing lush, strong and in excellent condition, confirming that the project is producing the desired results.

November 2024 – Updates from Campo dei Fiori Park
In the splendid setting of Campo dei Fiori Regional Park, in the province of Varese, a planting event was held with the participation of around 200 people. Families, friends and nature lovers came together to contribute to a project with a significant impact: planting over 10,000 new trees in an area that has suffered numerous natural disasters in recent decades, including fires, pest attacks and the devastating Storm Alex in 2020.
This day was not only a moment of concrete action, but also an opportunity to reflect on the importance of regenerating the land and protecting it from the risks associated with hydrogeological instability. Thanks to the collaboration between the Campo dei Fiori Regional Park and the Valle delle Sorgenti Landowners’ Association, work has begun to restore and secure the slopes. These efforts are not only aimed at preventing landslides and mudslides, but also at promoting biodiversity and ecological enrichment in the area.
