October 2024 – Updates from Parco Spina Verde

In Parco Spina Verde, located between Lombardy and the Swiss border, in October we organised the second event dedicated to planting the new trees adopted by citizens.

In this short video, Alessio tells us about the work we are carrying out in different parts of the Park. In addition to planting the saplings, we are restoring wetlands, reducing erosion risks and improving biodiversity.

We also checked on the health of the trees we planted in spring, during the last planting event, and found that they are growing as expected. Although not enough time has passed yet to appreciate significant changes in development, the saplings are doing well. We will of course keep monitoring the project to make sure it succeeds in the future.
