Green Beauty – La bellezza della sostenibilità

Why should a beauty salon focus on sustainability? The Green Beauty project promoted by Confartigianato Padova, with the contribution of EBAV answers this question and provides useful tools for wellness professionals to undertake sustainability paths in their salon.
In particular, professionals who want will be able to take advantage of operational tools developed by Confartigianato Padova in collaboration with Etifor:
– Communication toolkit to avoid greenwashing
– Promotional content for social media (IG, Facebook, Linkedin)
– Promotional content in printed format for merchants to display in store
– Customer engagement with WOWnature projects.

By joining Green Beauty, your business is also invited to support the social reforestation project in Burkina Faso run by WOWnature. This area was chosen by Confartigianato Imprese Padova because of the affinity of the initiative with the wellness and cosmetics sector.

For the past 5 years, WOWnature has been working with a local cooperative of Burkinabe women. The project involves planting and growing native trees, such as shea, moringa, and neré, which not only combat desertification but also improve community life. The women care for the trees and process their fruits, turning them into oils and butters for food use and used in the cosmetics industry, such as the famous shea butter. The products are sold by the women to generate a stable income.
