On the night of October 29, 2018, storm Vaia struck with all its power the forests of northeastern Italy, leaving behind a disfigured landscape and more than 42 million felled trees. Suddenly we realised how important the forests of our mountains were. Inside us, this disaster triggered something, a spark: we cannot stand by and watch. And so VAIA was born: the response of a group of young people determined to derive beauty from that destruction, giving new life to the felled trees.

Thanks to the craftsmanship of expert carpenters, the wood of the firs and larches uprooted by the wind is recovered and transformed into a unique and elegant design object, to be used as a natural amplifier to obtain warm and deep sounds. But VAIA does not stop there: for every product sold, a new tree will be planted to rebuild what the storm has destroyed.
