Reforestation event at Panarotta forest: plant a tree in Levico Terme

Join WOWnature's reforestation event on September 30 in Levico Terme. Help bring trees back to the slopes affected by Storm Vaia, which wiped out the Lagorai and Paneveggio forests overnight. Choose your favorite species, adopt it and do your part to restore the damaged mountain ecosystem.

Forests provide countless benefits to mountain slopes: they purify air and water, hold soil firm and prevent landslides and mudslides, make homes for numerous animals, and increase biodiversity.

Planting new trees to form the forests of the future is critical to the mountain economy and ecosystem conservation. WOWnature’s forestry project plans to plant as many as 10 different species to increase biodiversity and make the land not only richer, but also more resilient to any extreme weather events.
