If you are into animals, the Lame Forest is the right place for you. Indeed, while going along its paths, it’s almost impossible not to see some roe deer, or squirrels, hares, foxes, pheasants or swans. And not to mention birds: you can take a hiding position in the birdwatching tower and let the huge variety of birds surprise you. If you are lucky, you can take a photo of the western marsh harrier.
This is a must-see if you are travelling along the European bike path “E8”!
This forest is part of the Lowland Forest Association.
FSC forest management certification confirms that the forest is being managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while ensuring it sustains economic viability.
