Anello dei Colli Euganei

Italy
Padova

We have planted 100 new trees along the Anello dei Colli Euganei cycling route, which will provide more shade to the cycling path.

If there is one thing for which Italians are famous all over the world it is their ability to grasp the sense of beauty, mastering it over the centuries and shaping the territories in which they have lived according to this mysterious harmony that them, and them alone, have managed to grasp so systematically. And, as we pedal along the Anello dei Colli Euganei cycling route, we cannot help but realize this. This in fact is a truly unique area, with the track winding through waterways, abbeys and castles of bygone days, elegant villas and enchanting villages.

As long as the road runs steadily under our bicycles, breathtaking views unfold all around us, while we can delight ourselves with excellent wines and traditional foods during the stops, in the shadow of the Colli Euganei (Euganean Hills), surrounded by the colours and scents of the countryside. But an area can only retain its beauty if the people who live there take care of it: thanks to Associazione Strada del Vino Colli Euganei (Euganean Hills Wine Road Association) and to numerous citizens, 100 new trees were planted in November 2019. They will help make the landscape even more beautiful while protecting local biodiversity.
