Pellegrini helps forests with WOWnature

For sixty years, Pellegrini has contributed to people’s well-being in the places where they live and work: companies, schools, hospitals, care homes and public institutions, both in Italy and abroad. With over 11,000 employees and a turnover of €1 billion in 2024, we operate in five strategic areas: Catering and Vending, Welfare Solutions, Cleaning, Sanitation and Integrated Services, Food Supplies, and Fresh Meat Processing.

People are at the heart of everything we do. This commitment is reflected in the Pellegrini Academy, our center of excellence for training, development and innovation. Here, we design new organizational models and promote a sustainable approach aligned with our vision of responsible business. Our dedication to the community also extends to the social sphere. Since 2014, through the Ernesto Pellegrini Foundation, we have supported individuals facing economic hardship with initiatives such as the solidarity restaurant Ruben. In 2025, our 60th anniversary year, we are an official partner of the Jubilee with the “Gli Amici del Pellegrino” project: a hospitality network that, through Welfare Pellegrini digital meal vouchers, offers pilgrims quality meals at discounted rates in participating restaurants, bars and local markets.

We are also a partner of Triennale Milano for the 24th International Exhibition “Inequalities”. As part of the exhibition “The Republic of Longevity”, a dedicated panel will present our daily commitment to promoting a long and healthy life, including during lunch breaks. This contribution is consistent with the work of the Foundation and the Ruben restaurant in addressing inequalities in access to quality food.

The same focus guides our environmental choices. We have chosen to support WOWnature through the protection of part of the Po River Woods, an ecosystem threatened by biodiversity loss, and the adoption of new trees at Ticino Park, the largest ecological corridor in Lombardy. For the third year in a row, we were awarded the EcoVadis platinum medal. For us, sustainability is a daily commitment: to people, the environment and the future.
