Banca IFIS helps forests with WOWnature

Innovation and sustainability are key development drivers for Banca Ifis. These are values that have been realized by joining the Net Zero Banking Alliance, the initiative promoted by the United Nations to accelerate the sustainable transition of the international banking sector. Through #ifisgreen we support environmental initiatives ranging from the development of sustainable mobility products with Ifis Leasing Green, to the use of new technologies to reduce environmental impact even in the workplace. We support initiatives that enrich the Group’s corporate social responsibility journey day by day.

For this reason, we support two reforestation projects with WOWnature. The first is in Veneto, along the Brenta River, a place the riparian forests and typical habitat of the Po Valley meet the river and the community. The second in Lombardy, at the Oglio Sud Regional Park, where we aim to enrich the river ecological corridor and increase biodiversity.
