Michelangelo International Travel

Grown trees 100

Michelangelo International Travel has been the leading tour operator in the incoming groups market in Italy and the Mediterranean for over 30 years. In recent years the world of tourism has become more environmentally conscious, and Michelangelo has increased its regard for a more responsible offering with a selection of eco-sustainable itineraries. We offer our corporate clients travel experiences designed with a focus on environmental impact and support for local communities and natural resources. Our travel programs include, for example, culinary experiences and tastings of excellence at small producers and regional farms/wineries, for an authentic and supportive small-scale experience. In addition, our “Activo” product offers trekking or biking itineraries to explore our destinations on the move, in close contact with nature and away from the classic mass tourism routes.

Italy is our homeland and the destination that enchants our guests the most, thanks to cultural beauty, culinary excellence and breathtaking places. Natural sceneries that we want to protect, so that the travelers of today and tomorrow can continue to be enchanted by the extraordinary landscape diversity of our Peninsula. Michelangelo is therefore active in the search for environmental protection projects on the national territory, finding in WOWnature the ideal collaboration. Starting in January 2024, Michelangelo supports the planting of new trees in the Lio Piccolo area, an area in the Venice Lagoon threatened by climate change, and in the Torbiere del Sebino Nature Reserve, south of Lake Iseo.
